The ECB closes 2022 with a zeroing of profits, which had already collapsed to 192 million euros in 2021
, and consequently
"no distribution of dividends to the central banks of the euro area".
This can be read in a note from the central bank, the results of which take into account
1.627 billion of provisions to cover financial risks on losses related to interest on net liabilities
on the target platform2 and
write-downs of securities on own funds and in the dollar portfolio.
