Japan: UFO? dragon egg? Spy Sea Drone? Washed up metal ball causes speculation

A 1.5 meter round object washed up on the Japanese Pacific coast. It's not a sea mine - the authorities are at a loss as to what exactly the metal ball could be. MAYBE A BUOY.

Discussions about alleged spy balloons over North America are fueling the discussion about a metal ball about 1.5 meters in size that washed ashore in Japan.

A walker spotted the bullet on Enshu Beach near the city of Hamamatsu on the country's Pacific coast and called the police, local media reports.

ALTHOUGH THE PART COULD SIMPLY BE A BUOY.

Security forces cordoned off the area to be on the safe side within a radius of 200 meters.

They searched the area for similar objects or clues — without finding anything suspicious.

Photos of the orange-brown sphere with darker spots (perhaps rust?) have been sent to the Japan Self-Defense Forces and Coast Guard for further investigation.

THE OBJECT ALREADY LOOKS LIKE A BUOY.

The authorities now feared that the bullet could be a stray sea mine.

Explosives experts in protective gear X-rayed the object and found it hollow.

So most likely there is no risk of explosion.

So the question remains: what kind of ball is that?

The authorities are helpless.

A jogger interviewed by Japanese TV broadcaster NHK says he tried to roll the ball away - to no avail: "I tried to move it, but it wouldn't budge." The ball has also been around for a month lying on the beach without anyone taking care of them.

He doesn't quite understand why the ball is suddenly the focus of public interest.

BECAUSE SHE IS PROBABLY A BUOY.

Others have all the more theories about the bullet:

  • It could be a

    spy sea drone

from nearby North Korea or from China.

After all, there have recently been repeated sightings of suspected spy balloons over the USA, and similar balloons are said to have been sighted over Japan in recent years.

  • The identity of the objects shot down over North America has not yet been clarified - but if they were UFOs, this bullet could also have been

    sent by

    aliens .

    OR SIMPLY A BUOY.

  • The ball is also a bit similar to the "

    Dragon Balls

" from the manga series of the same name.

It may be one of the seven dragon balls sought by Goku and his friends.

  • In December last year, an 800-kilogram

    steel ball full of gin

    disappeared from Lake Constance.

Maybe she was washed up here now?

The question is also: How did the bullet travel halfway around the world from inland water to Japan?

And: where did the gin go?

  • Is this ball the

    wrecking ball

that Miley Cyrus rides naked on in the video clip for her song "Wrecking Ball"?

If so, then where is Miley?

  • Could this round object be the

    moon

, which is actually much smaller than previously thought and recently fell into the sea?

This is supported by the fact that the surface is actually similar to that of the moon.

On the other hand speaks: The moon is not gone at all, but is still in the sky.

    THEN IT MAYBE A BUOY.

  • The presence of handles on the sphere's surface suggests a much more mundane explanation, also circulating on Twitter - that the object is simply a

    mooring buoy

that has become dislodged from its moorings.

There was a similar case three years ago in Vancouver, so this attempt at an explanation does not seem implausible.

    OH NO.

Why did the Coast Guard apparently not come up with this idea?

Not clear.

TYES.
