The Rome prosecutor's office has closed the investigation and requested immediate judgment for Chiara Silvestri, the 23-year-old girl who ran over and killed Francesco Valdiserri with her car on the night between 19 and 20 October.
The tragic accident took place in Via Cristoforo Colombo.
The suspect is charged with vehicular homicide.
The advice given by the prosecutors, some newspapers write today, confirmed that that evening he had a blood alcohol level three times higher than permitted and the car was traveling at a speed exceeding the authorized limit on that stretch of road.
"We have never spoken directly about the night that destroyed Fra's life and ours. We speak and will speak of him like many other victims of road violence. Do not drive if you have been drinking or taking substances, do not use your smartphone. Respect the limits of speed".
This is what Luca Valdiserri, journalist of Corriere della
Sera and Francesco's father writes, commenting on the news on his twitter profile.
