The Pope, dicastery assets and entities are the property of the Holy See

This is reaffirmed by an Apostolic Letter in the form of a Motu Proprio (ANSA) "All assets, movable and immovable, including liquid assets and securities, which have been or will be acquired, in any way, by the Curial Institutions and Entities connected to the Holy See, are ecclesiastical public assets and as such owned, in ownership or other real right, of the Holy See as a whole and therefore belonging, independently of the civil power, to its unitary, indivisible and sove

This was stated in an Apostolic Letter in the form of a Motu Proprio issued by Pope Francis.
