Orna Banai

is considered to be one of the funniest women in Israel, but she had a difficult time facing her family.

In the episode of "Connected" that will be broadcast tomorrow (Sunday), Banai has a conversation with her brother

Avitar

about the reactions she received from their parents when she came out of the closet.

"For years I went with a feeling, mainly because of my parents, a great fear of being who I really am. It was a shame. When they found out they kept shouting 'You have a little brother at home!', as if I receive clients when I have a little brother at home."

Banai also said that her parents took her for bile therapy, and that her mother told her that her father would end his life.

Later, the two discussed the criticism they had passed on each other, when Banai repented and did not understand her secular lifestyle.
