Gisele Bundchen
is almost unrecognizable on the cover of Vogue Italy's wonderful March issue, dedicated to art, its heroes, lovers and collectors.
It's only been about three months since her high-profile divorce from football star Tom Brady, to whom she was married for 13 years (plus two children together), and the Brazilian supermodel seems to have plunged right back into work and campaigns.
Now 42-year-old Bündchen stars on the cover of the coveted Italian magazine in an unexpected but stunning look - wearing a Valentino burgundy dress with chiffon batwing sleeves, with her brows pressed into stripes and her hair pulled back, both in a fiery red shade that matches her appearance (shocking but hypnotist).
To close the dramatic scene, Bündchen is heavily made up in a drag-queen style and wears large silver jewelry, earrings designed by Kenneth J. Lane and bracelets by Patricia von Mussolin.

The cover story describes a chromatic journey (sensitive to color) following the countless transformations of a woman.
In a breathtaking production, photographed by the sought-after Brazilian photographer Rafael Pavarotti, who worked alongside stylist Ibrahim Camara, who is also the editor-in-chief of Dazed magazine as well as artistic and image director of the boiling brand of White - the eternal supermodel channels no less than 16 different characters.

The hair is a central figure in the production.

The star of the March cover of "Vogue Italy" magazine has always been seen as a symbol of unattainable natural perfection, but this unique production presents Bündchen differently and more defiant than ever, thus actually making her more of an art than a symbol of beauty.
