Gisele Bundchen

is almost unrecognizable on the cover of Vogue Italy's wonderful March issue, dedicated to art, its heroes, lovers and collectors.

It's only been about three months since her high-profile divorce from football star Tom Brady, to whom she was married for 13 years (plus two children together), and the Brazilian supermodel seems to have plunged right back into work and campaigns.

Now 42-year-old Bündchen stars on the cover of the coveted Italian magazine in an unexpected but stunning look - wearing a Valentino burgundy dress with chiffon batwing sleeves, with her brows pressed into stripes and her hair pulled back, both in a fiery red shade that matches her appearance (shocking but hypnotist).

To close the dramatic scene, Bündchen is heavily made up in a drag-queen style and wears large silver jewelry, earrings designed by Kenneth J. Lane and bracelets by Patricia von Mussolin.

The cover story describes a chromatic journey (sensitive to color) following the countless transformations of a woman.

In a breathtaking production, photographed by the sought-after Brazilian photographer Rafael Pavarotti, who worked alongside stylist Ibrahim Camara, who is also the editor-in-chief of Dazed magazine as well as artistic and image director of the boiling brand of White - the eternal supermodel channels no less than 16 different characters.

The looks ranged from 00s-scented minimalism like Valentino's clean look, through a modern nod to the femme fatale style under the auspices of Fendi's transparent skirt or Dolce & Gabbana's strapless dress, from sculpted looks like Lueva's velvet dress, to an avant-garde clown with an embellished one-shoulder dress Balloons in the shape of hearts by Moschino, or the two Tom Brown looks - an economy silk taffeta dress, and a brown tulle overall with gathers and a collar à la pierre the sad clown.

The hair is a central figure in the production.

From the shocking red slicked-back hairdo featured on the cover, which also accompanied the Giorgio Armani mesh top and skirt ensemble and other looks, short, playful blonde hair, sculpted black kara with a clean Valentino bouffant look, and down to her wild auburn mane in a strapless Off White dress It has a front zipper.

Some of the looks also feature the veteran model's natural hair, styled into perfect waves, like a Fendi block with the transparent skirt teamed with an AGENT PROVOCATEUR lace bra.

In each appearance Bundchen came out a little different, but the common denominator is clear and abundant - she is stronger than ever, ready to open a new page in her life and is not afraid to part with the classic "beautiful" image that stuck to her throughout a long and successful modeling career.

We loved the extra edgy looks by far.

Whether it's the Saint Laurent look with a black viscose dress and a crazy short leather jacket on top, or the Givenchy satin trench coat that was left open and revealed a bra and lace underwear set, combined with sexy tights and a green leather belt with a maxi buckle by Patricia Von Mussolini .

The star of the March cover of "Vogue Italy" magazine has always been seen as a symbol of unattainable natural perfection, but this unique production presents Bündchen differently and more defiant than ever, thus actually making her more of an art than a symbol of beauty.

"Extraordinary dresses, sensational make-up and fun, colorful hairstyles make Gisele the perfect array of different characters, each exuding playful, sensual indifference and uninhibited confidence," the magazine said.

"Each of the characters is different, and maybe that's why each one is who she is."
