The sky seems to be the limit when it comes to weird and gross behavior that happens on planes, and the examples keep piling up.

There is also no doubt that the more interesting cases are precisely those related to what can be called "flight etiquette".

The New York Post website reports that a few days ago, a passenger who was on a fairly crowded flight was "trapped" next to a passenger who ate himself with nothing less than a huge platter of ribs, including side dishes.

And as happens in such cases, she immediately uploaded all this goodness straight to the social networks, to vent her frustration there.

As expected, the post quickly sparked a heated debate regarding flight etiquette.

A meat platter or a laptop?

And so the traveler, Lana Toland from Glasgow, Scotland, found herself at the heart of a debate that became global.

In her post she sarcastically wrote

"There is no way the guy next to me eats a full tray of ribs with side dishes on the plane"

.

Of course, she also provided photographic evidence, and her post on Twitter has already received about 5.5 million views.

The responses came one after the other.

"I don't even like opening my laptop when I'm sitting in the middle seat," wrote one surfer, and another noted: "Based on the non-existent distance between his stomach and the tray, I'd say this isn't the first time he's eaten this dish on planes."

Another wrote: "At the airport, we only order black coffee and croissants. Nothing more than that."

And so, while Toland found herself a multitude of allies for the situation, there were also many who really did not identify with her.

And sometimes they did it a little aggressively.

Many argued that it is simply a person trying to eat what he likes.

There were even those who encouraged him with the words: "I authorize you to do it!".

And there were those who claimed that Toland was angry at the fact that this passenger did not share his meal with her.

"This man is my hero," one commenter wrote.

"If you don't respect this move of his, it says more about you than about him."

"A plane is the last place you want to get down on such a dish"

Next, the discussion moved to the appearance of the food itself - a gloomy looking cardboard package with sticky and uninviting ribs, a few scattered chips and a mushy lump (probably corn food) covered in butter and cheese.

There were also those who immediately checked where the food was purchased and discovered that it was the Frankie & Benny's restaurant at the airport in Texas, which offers American and Italian style food.

In this case, it is a dish of smoked ribs in BBQ sauce.

"The ribs look like they were cooked in the oven. No thanks," wrote one of the commenters, and another added: "I doubt the airport restaurant is in the business of smoking ribs. Oven ribs are not worth the trouble at all. An airplane is the last place you want to go down on such a dish. When you eat Ribs - you need space. You need to spread your wings and fly," he finished with a joke.
