After the launch in December on the Chinese market, Xiaomi chooses the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona for the international debut of its Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro smartphones. They have the photographic sector created in collaboration with Leica, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and Surge battery management system.
The Chinese company also brings the Buds 4 Pro earphones, the Watch S1 Pro smartwatch and the Electric Scooter 4 Ultra to the technology fair which is new but will not be available in Italy at the moment.
"The collaboration with Leica has allowed us to create a series of smartphones that we do not hesitate to define as our masterpiece. Thanks to this joint imaging system involving both hardware and software, the goal is that those who buy Xiaomi 13 Series can create their own masterpiece ", said Davide Lunardelli, Head of Marketing Xiaomi Italy.
Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13 will offer 3 generations of Android system updates and 5 years of security patch updates.
The Xiaomi 13 Lite version, on the other hand, has the versatility of the dual front camera for social media enthusiasts.
They are already available for pre-order online.
In Barcelona, Xiaomi also talked about the Wireless AR Glass Discovery Edition, a pair of augmented reality glasses, supported by the presence of the Snapdragon XR2 Gen 1 platform, i.e. the same chip on board Meta Quest 2. At the moment the company has not made known when the device will be available, but in 2023 a push is expected for this genre of devices, Apple is also expected to introduce its headsets.
