In the program "Seeing the Voice" participants in each program are contestants: some are excellent anonymous singers who have not yet broken out, some are well-known singers and some are terrible singers.
"There is no middle ground here - either you are a singer or you sing like a saw," explains panel member, comedian Avi Nussbaum.
Why would viewers care if someone was a singer or a fake?
"This is also what I thought when they approached me, but when I saw clips of this format abroad and when we started filming, I found myself arguing in an emotional panel.

What information do you have about the participants?
"Only dry facts. We don't know who is who, and we don't know how many fakers and how many singers there are in each show. At first we have to guess by his appearance and posture, and then we hear him sing. But it could be a playback or a real video of him as an amateur singer. In short, you never know."

And when do you find out if he is a singer or a forger?
"We only find out the person's identity when he goes home. There were several times it was very disappointing, because we sent home an amazing singer."
How was the response from the real singers?
"Lots of singers came. They weren't afraid because there were many participants in the program who we knew in advance that they weren't good singers. There is also an option here to open a door for karaoke singers in a place that is not binding, big and stressful like reality music. Think of a karaoke singer who has the opportunity to sing in front of an audience on television , why not? It's karaoke on steroids."
Apart from the program, you will soon appear for the first time at the Culture Hall.
"That's right. My show at the Culture Hall is on March 24, and it's the first time I'm performing there alone. I'm very excited."
There is a feeling that the Culture Hall has become a more accessible place for comedians.
"It's like Caesarea in the past was reserved only for Shlomo Artzi, and suddenly more singers started performing there. I think these places have become more accessible to the people, and everyone wants this experience and manages to sell tickets, thanks in large part to social networks. In the past, to fill a hall like the Culture Hall, you had to To be known in every house, and today there are people who are not known to the general public but have a large audience that fills the halls."
And you also have a new show on the sports channel.
"That's right, I'm fulfilling a little dream I had there. Every time I sit with another legendary athlete, from all generations and fields, and talk to them about their careers. It's great fun."
