Purim is approaching, and everyone is already under pressure to choose their costumes.

Forget about superheroes, doctors, cats or characters from successful series, we are in favor of dressing up inspired by fashionable periods from the last century, and we have prepared the guide that will help you choose your favorite decade.

The 20s

Fashion has changed dramatically during this decade.

Women began to adopt shorter hemlines, looser and more relaxed silhouettes, and bold and flamboyant accessories.

The dresses were usually sleeveless and featured low waists, low necklines and short hemlines.

They were designed to be loose and moveable, allowing women to move freely and dance the night away.

the 50's

She was influenced by the rise of Hollywood and the new celebrity culture, emphasizing a meticulous and polished appearance.

One of the influencers was the fashion designer Christian Dior who designed the NEW LOOK in 1947, which influenced the entire decade that followed.

What do you need for the costume?

Full, puffy skirts were a popular trend in the 1950s.

These skirts often had layers of tulle or crinoline underneath to create a dramatic bell-shaped silhouette. They were usually worn with fitted tops or blouses tucked into the skirt. Another must-have item is a thin waist belt, And to complete the look, add cat sunglasses and a scarf.

70's

In the 70s, fashion became much freer and even provocative.

This is the time of the flower children who wanted to celebrate love and not war, and this was reflected in their clothes.

In these years, the bell bottoms that were a popular trend in the 70's came into fashion.
