Even a control room between ministers and simplifications. Lollobrigida: 'Eight billion stopped due to excess bureaucracy' (ANSA)

The

government will prepare a decree law on the drought emergency, which will provide for an ad hoc commissioner

, a

control room

between the ministers concerned and simplifications of the procedures for the necessary interventions.

This is what was decided today at the Table on the water emergency at Palazzo Chigi.

During the round table on the water crisis, it was agreed to address the water issue in the face of the current drought "by setting up a control room at Palazzo Chigi among all the ministries concerned to define an extraordinary national water plan in agreement with the Regions and Local authorities to identify intervention priorities and their adequate planning, also using new technologies" and "launching an awareness campaign on the responsible use of water resources".

Other actions will be a decree law and the identification of an extraordinary commissioner.

Ministers Matteo Salvini, Francesco, Lollobrigida, Raffaele Fitto, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, Roberto Calderoli, Nello Musumeci, Deputy Minister Vannia Gava, the undersecretaries Alfredo Mantovano and Alessandro Morelli.

The government will work "on an urgent regulatory provision that contains the necessary simplifications and derogations and speeding up the essential works to deal with the drought" and will identify "an extraordinary Commissioner with executive powers with respect to what was programmed by the control room".

Lollobrigida: 8 billion stopped due to excessive bureaucracy

"Assume definitive and adequately planned strategic solutions".

So the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests, Francesco Lollobrigida, answering Question Time questions in the House on drought, "an emergency issue in this year's epiphenomenon, but structural in the last 20 years because we are at the fifth drought event that could be approached differently in forecasting and resource utilization".

Almost 8 billion is available "which has been there for a few years with the impossibility of being spent for bureaucratic and regulatory reasons on which it will be necessary to intervene quickly".
