Italy PMI manufacturing index at 52 points, better than estimates

(ANSA) - MILAN, MARCH 01 - The Purchasing managers' index (Pmi) of the manufacturing sector in Italy in February is at 52 points, compared to 51 expected and 50.4 in January.

    The Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) of the Eurozone manufacturing sector scored 48.5 points in February, in line with forecasts and slightly below January's 48.8.

    In Germany alone, the PMI manufacturing index in February was 46.3 points, against 46.5 as estimated.
