Sometimes days don't go as planned.

Rianna found that out when she was way too late and had to take her dog Axel to the office.

In the end, nobody could be angry about that.

The first day in a new job can be many things: thrilling, exciting, scary ... but Rianna was also new to the fact that after this day one would already be talking about employee of the month.

But Axel seems to have convinced all along the line.

It wasn't all planned that way.

dog as a colleague?

Rottweiler makes hearts melt in the office

First things first: Axel is a dog, a Rottweiler to be precise.

Actually, Rianna wanted to bring him home on the way to her office meeting.

But as life sometimes goes, she was very late – and simply took Axel with her.

Of course, his presence did not go unnoticed by the rest of the team, as the dog made himself almost irreplaceable on his first day in the office.

How?

Rianna shows this on her Instagram and TikTok account as @nala_the_needy_rottie: During the two-hour meeting, Axel offers his paws to hold, smiles at colleagues and is happy to be petted for hours.

“He only got impatient when someone stopped doing it.

He then nudged the person with his paw to keep them going," Rianna told Newsweek

.

And Rianna's peers love the "Rottie" for it.

So much so that Axel's mistress can only say: "I think I always bring my dogs to meetings now."

Would she really always do that?

After all, Axel disappeared from time to time with his colleagues around the corner - and then dusted off a few treats.

But at least it's good for Rianna to know that he can be taken to work if the worst comes to the worst.

"He needs a promotion, now" - Users love Rottweiler Axel

Rottweilers have a relatively bad reputation and are even listed dogs in some federal states of Germany, although they are wonderful family dogs.

They are usually not easily spooked and are a good choice even for novice keepers.

In addition, they always seem to smile a little and, thanks to their light "eyebrows", generally have a well-recognizable facial expression.

Rianna wants to prove that with her two dogs, Nala and Axel.

At least in the office and with her followers, she hardly has to do that anymore.

In the comments, some users demand that Axel “now has to be in every meeting” or ideally needs a promotion immediately.

Here is a selection of other comments:

  • "He behaves better than some of my colleagues"

  • "This should become normal.

Dogs contribute to a better working atmosphere.”

  • “He could become a colleague assistance dog.

How not to fall in love with this face?

    🥰🥰🥰”

  • "I would love to be at this meeting!"

  • "His smile"

Info: If you want to get a Rottweiler, you should first find out about the regulations in your state and also take out dog liability insurance.

By the way, do you know what yellow collars or loops on dog leashes mean?

Dog in the office – is that even allowed?

Whether or not a dog can be taken into the office is not decided by you, but by your superior or the management.

The only exceptions here are assistance animals, such as guide dogs for the blind.

In addition, it must always be clarified in advance whether the colleagues in the office agree with a four-legged friend.

Finally, there are also people who suffer from allergies or are afraid of dogs.

In addition, the dog itself plays a role: its character, its obedience and its whole being.

Not every four-legged friend is suitable as an office dog.
