A journalistic award dedicated to communicating the
issues of disability, social inclusion and accessibility

The Council for people in difficulty (Cpd) of Turin has created
the '3 December-Paolo Osiride Ferrero'
, in collaboration with the Master in Journalism 'Giorgio Bocca' of the University of Turin and with the sponsorship of the National Order of Journalists , of the Order of Journalists of Piedmont and of the City of Turin and the media partnership of the ANSA agency.
The initiative is part of the Disability Agenda, a project conceived by the Cpd and the Crt Foundation.
There are three categories in the competition:
the 3 December - Paolo Osiride Ferrero Award,
named in memory of the president and secretary of the CPD, who died in 2017, and with the date of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, with a financial award of 4,000 euros, for the best article, news report, fact-finding investigation, radio, television or online program and photographic report;
the special mention 'Angelo Burzi Association' for the best literary and storytelling work;
the special mention in partnership with AcessiWay for the best web and social content.
The jury is chaired
by Luigi Contu, director of ANSA
, coordinated by
Fabrizio Vespa
and made up of local and national journalists.
It is flanked by a technical-scientific committee made up of personalities from the cultural and social fields.
The call for entries closes on March 30.

The awards ceremony will be held in Turin on 6 June.
