In the midst of a strong heat wave that affects the center of the country, the 37.9° registered at noon this Thursday in the City broke with all calculations.
So much so that it reached the maximum temperature peak for March,
equaling a historical record
.
As confirmed by meteorologist Cindy Fernández, from the National Meteorological Service (SMN), the 37.9° registered at 1:00 p.m. equaled the peak that occurred on March 7, 1952, when the maximum peak for this month was recorded in the City.
A large part of the central zone of the country continued this Thursday with a very suffocating day and intense heat.
For this reason, the orange alert
was maintained
for the city and for the province of Buenos Aires and the yellow alert is maintained for different locations in eight more provinces.
