The prince wore his official uniform as a colonel, which included black trousers with red stripes and a tailored gray coat with a double lapel and gold buttons.
Princess Kate chose British attire that is typical for festive events, and paid homage to the Welsh flag which includes a red dragon.

The princess wore a long red Alexander McQueen asymmetric coat with a double lapel.
