(ANSA) - BOLZANO, MARCH 01 - Neom, the innovation hub in northwestern Saudi Arabia, today announces a partnership with Care's, an international project founded by multi-starred Italian Chef Norbert Niederkofler and Paolo Ferretti, "to develop the unique culinary identity of Neom, where the food supply will be treated in a sustainable way in every aspect, from the planet to the plate".
The announcement comes a few days after the news of the closure for renovation of the Rosa Alpina hotel in San Cassiano which houses the 3-star Michelin restaurant "St. Hubertus" in Niederkofler.
"Together, they want to inspire a new generation of Saudi chefs to become agents of change through the creation of tasty dishes prepared with fresh ingredients from their regions," announced Nemo and Care's in a joint statement.
According to Niederkofler, "through this partnership, Care's has the opportunity not only to lay the foundations for a more ethical and sustainable approach to gastronomy in the Kingdom, but also to spur Saudi talents to promote innovation in the food sector. Thanks to the international network of "Care's multidisciplinary ambassadors and Neom's specialists in the food sector, its technological capabilities and public commitment to innovation, we are confident that we can create effective and beneficial change for both the Kingdom and the rest of the world"
