Almost a year after the US premiere, RTL+ is delivering the youngest offshoot from the Pretty Little Liars universe as a German premiere, because Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin will start on the German streaming service in April.
Why is?
On Monday, April 10th, the series "Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin" celebrates its German premiere on RTL+.
A total of ten episodes were initially produced, which are made available in Germany in double episodes.
A second season has already been ordered, perhaps with a different motto.
The US premiere of the new series took place in July 2022.
"Pretty Little Liars" and "Pretty Little Liars - The Perfectionists" can already be found on RTL+.
That's what "Original Sin" is about: 20 years ago, the working-class town of Millwood was almost torn apart by tragic events.
Now, in the present, a diverse group of teen girls - a whole new group of Little Liars - are being tormented by an unknown assailant.
They should pay for the sins committed by their parents two decades ago, as well as for their own.
The new series will be a dark coming-of-age tale with horror elements set in a whole new place with a new generation of young protagonists.
Millwood is a few miles from Rosewood, exactly what that means remains to be seen...
