Two years after the painful death of Claudio Coccoluto, The Dub - now edited by his son Gianmaria - in collaboration with Sergio Cerruti's Just Entertainment, publishes today 2 March TRIP - A journey through sound, an unreleased album being worked on in the last months of the life of
the 'artist.
The record wants to be a tribute to Claudio's figure and career on the anniversary of his death, to celebrate the artistic value of his music.

His only solo album composed between 2006 and 2019, a journey into sound that affirms and totally focuses his
artistic eclecticism as a musician / composer even outside the night dancefloors

Concluding the production of this album by working on the executive and artistic part was an obligatory handover that led me to travel through my father's music and enhance it by completing the work he started.

who speaking of the album declares: “It is a project to which I am attached and which particularly involves me precisely because of its double meaning: it is a painful but happy celebration at the same time.
I am happy to be able to remember an artist and a friend through his music and at the same time sad to know that he is gone.
I am heartened to think that, as Claudio himself would have jokingly commented, whatever happens we must go ahead and, as in the best tradition of recent years, try to do so while maintaining that identity, that purity and that quality that has always characterized our work outside the schemes and labels”.

, the album contains 10 unreleased tracks including 2 versions of Carillontron, one of Claudio's dearest songs.
TRIP – A journey through sound is available on all digital and physical stores in edition picture disc format and in a very limited edition of 100 copies on cassette.
The album is part of the larger Infinito project, a series of releases that collect all the legacy of the recordings left by the Italian DJ to his son Giammaria
which will be published in the years to come, continuing to remember the figure of the artist through his music and the contribution made to the international electronic panorama.
