"Half ultra-orthodox and half clothed": Odia's excellent style - voila! Fashion

Odia Azoulai with the look of a star and a relaxed style that is seasoned with edgy touches, for which no less than two stylists are responsible

The singer, creator and composer

Odia Azoulai

, known by her stage name 'Odia', became one of the most talked about performers in Israel this year.

With a chain of hits and millions of streaming listens, she conquers the tops of the chorus charts, made history when she appeared twice in Caesarea, released a joint duet with Noa Kirel ("Mami"), and recently performed at Menorah Hall alongside other leading singers.

Beyond the writing skills, fashion and style also play a significant role in the emerging image of the 21-year-old young star.

Odia chooses to work closely with two of the leading stylists in the industry, Daniela Caploto and Or Luzon, who are responsible for her looks on stage and off.

The fact that Odia takes ownership of her relationship to religion but does not necessarily follow the external rules on her side, is surely an inspiration to the loyal audience she has accumulated, which is mostly made up of young women in their 20s, some of whom may also have difficulty reconciling with similar dissonance content.

These conflicts are also present in her songs - "I'm half ultra-Orthodox and I'm half clothed" proclaims the single "Intellectuals", with which Odia chooses to open her concerts.

As someone who starred in our beauty questionnaire for the month of December 2022, shared that in her eyes the winning look consists of jeans and a t-shirt and that she generally prefers to shop at the supermarket over clothes, it is evident that quite a bit is invested in the star's style.

Although there is no clear division when it comes to who dresses her and where (among the two stylists who work with her), it appears that Or Luzon is responsible for the glamorous locks on the stages, such as the first performance in Reading Tel Aviv in front of an audience of only about 500 people.

Daniela Capelloto has been working with Odia constantly since her breakthrough last summer - whether she buys clothes for her, or dresses her for sets of covers and campaigns.

So far this move, whether planned or spontaneous, seems to be working quite well.

The beautiful musician gets to experiment and be seen in a variety of styles, although part of a close relationship between a main stylist (one and only) and her talent, is to create a unique and consistent style for her that will be identified with her, and it is possible that this will be slightly missed if you look at the long term.

For the first appearance at the Menorah Hall last month, stylist Or Luzon styled two total looks for her that were mostly made up of Factory 54 brands. In the first block Odia went on Sport-Elegant, in sexy leather pants, a black belt with a golden buckle, and a precise white button-down in an oversized silhouette with enlarged cuffs.

She later changed into a flashier outfit that included sparkly silver pants by Factory 54, and matching ankle boots, which she met with a black jacket by superbrand Copernicus for Roya Boutique, which boasted a twist at the front that revealed generous cut-outs.

For the second performance, Luzon upped the ante and dressed the singer in a flattering black velvet overall designed by Mai Mashiach, which covered the star from toe to neck, including gloves, with embellished ankle boots from the collaboration of Etti Kobo with By Anabelle, and Pandora jewelry from the "ME" collection, which the singer serves as a presenter.

The second look took us to the realms of street-style but high up under the auspices of desirable brands such as a Polo Ralph Lauren jacket, Balenciaga jeans, and for dessert Toteme boots and a Celine belt.

The cut-out trend also stars in blocks created for her by stylist Daniela Capelloto.

In a hot black total look Odia wears a Joa Brown top and pants with a waist line that also echoes the popular developer games, both from Roya Boutique.

Capello also dresses the singer-songwriter in performances that are pure casual and effortless, which rely on a lighter, fresher color palette - from a denim look on denim for the Scoop campaign with a Miu Miu cropped denim button-up, through a cropped white button-up teamed with tailored pants - deep beige models by Emmanuel, and a vacation look from Harfan - a Prau dress in stone tones designed by Tamar Studio - which Audia wore over a white bikini against the background of the beaches of Thailand.

Even when she is styling herself, the Israeli pop star is precise and looks her best.
