The PatentlyApple site has identified a new patent filed by Apple at the European Patent Office.
The document refers to the Apple Continuity function with devices not yet presented, such as those for 'extended' reality, abbreviated as 'xr'.
The suffix has been repeatedly compared to the name with which Apple should identify the new operating system for its next glasses and viewers, precisely 'xrOs'.
The patent explains how extended reality can be used to move content from an iPhone, iPad or computer, simply using hand gestures or a glance.
