Los Angeles – Who hasn't done that: You don't have a driver's license yet, but you can still drive your parents' or siblings' car across an empty parking lot and try something out.

This is exactly what a supposed TikTok* father wanted to do with his son – but he should regret it bitterly.

The short jaunt ended in a total loss.

Father lets son jet across empty parking lot – jaunt ends in total loss

This is what happened

: A father uploaded a clip to TikTok that probably shows a very painful experience for him.

The clip shows a boy driving a Honda SUV through an empty parking lot in Los Angeles.

At first, the boy, apparently the TikToker's son, makes his rounds around lampposts and seems to have the car well under control.

Before that, he probably announced to his father that he would drive the car “GTA* style”.

That's exactly what the boy tries to do.

With screeching tires, he does his laps around the lanterns, only to quickly step on the gas in a straight line.

Then he seems to want to take a curve, which he can no longer get.

Instead, the SUV slams into a lamppost at full speed and completely dents the SUV's hood.

The airbags also burst and protect the young driver.

After that the video stops.

Unfortunately, it is not known whether the boy was injured in the impact or not.

But judging by the TikToker's comments, everyone is doing fine and father and son seem to have escaped with a scare.

The extent of the damage to the car is also unknown.

But judging by the video, it is a total loss as the entire bonnet is dented.

So the father will probably have to buy a new SUV or another vehicle.

The TikTok community enjoys a jaunt – fans celebrate the clip

This is what the viewers say about it:

The clip has already been viewed 29,000 times on TikTok and numerous people have also commented on the video.

Most of them are having fun with the driving behavior of the boy, who clearly tried to drift with the SUV.

These are some of the comments:

  • liberonzayy says: "

The wipers prevented him from seeing the lamppost

    😂

    "

  • abehaq appeased: "

    If it's GTA, don't worry.

He can just take another car that he sees.

    "

  • christian_s7 wonders: "

Let's see how much it costs him at Los Santos Customs

    😅"

  • cronusvii writes: "

Bro tried to drift with the worst car

    😂😂"

Most of the comments allude to the title of the video, which the boy appears to have told his father to watch him drive the car GTA style.

In Grand Theft Auto (GTA), players can drift, perform stunts, and race numerous cars.

However, the SUV from the video will probably not be one of the fastest cars in GTA*.

It is to be hoped that father and son will learn from their mistakes and the boy will continue to drive only in GTA cars for the time being.
