This is a historic visit, described by The
Times
as "an attempt to build bridges with Britain's post-Brexit European neighbours".
We learned a little earlier this week: Charles III chose France for his first state visit abroad.
This will take place from March 26 to 29.
After which, the king will fly to Germany for a few days, until March 31.
And as always, this trip will follow a well-oiled program, even to the millimeter (the fault of royal protocol), as Buckingham Palace has already revealed this Friday, March 3.

In 2004, Elizabeth II went to the Senate but spoke in the Conference Room of the Luxembourg Palace.
Meanwhile, Camilla Parker Bowles and Brigitte Macron will inaugurate the Manet/Degas exhibition which opens to the public the next day at the Musée d'Orsay.
The king and his wife will then visit 19M, a structure launched by Chanel in the north-east of Paris to bring together its crafts houses.
Before going to the Centquatre cultural center in the presence of the mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo.
Charles III will then go to the British Embassy, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré (8th arrondissement), to meet entrepreneurs active in the ecological transition.
Finally, the day will end with a banquet at the Palace of Versailles.
