The capsule collection from the fashion house GUESS, in collaboration with the world's most famous graffiti artist Banksy - lands for the first time in Israel, at the GUESS TLV store.
The collection includes a variety of unique unisex items inspired by Banksy's works, exaggerated colorful textures, and characters that are identified with the trendy street paintings in the world.
The capsule collection does not arrive smoothly in the brand's stores, when last year Banksy called on his 12 million followers to come to the stores and steal the goods, because he claimed they were using his art in the collection without permission.
The flagship store in London was even closed following the riot and security was placed there.

In 2021, the court ruled that Banksy cannot own the copyright of his works, until he requests ownership of them under his original name - which did not happen.
The fashion brand GUESS created the collaboration with the brandlis company that receives permission to use graffiti art for commercial collaborations, because graffiti art is found and produced in public spaces.
In 2021 Brandlis received copyright to use Banksy's art for commercial collaborations.
At trial, they argued that Banksy's copyright had no validity or limitation because he was producing the art in the public domain for the public to enjoy.
