Eli Avisror, the chairman of the contractors' organization and the president of the Haaretz Association of Builders, explained: "We do not want to repeat the mistakes of the past. Every day workers are injured and killed at the construction sites, something that hurts not only the workers but also their families. In 2023 we want to strive and improve and of course reduce this horrible phenomenon. Our goal is for our employees to return home safely to their families and these safety instructions are intended to refresh and remind the safest work procedures to prevent the next accident."

Preliminary planning, strict briefing, disclosure of personal and professional responsibility and involvement of all officials in the industry, are the basis for reducing the probability of an accident happening and even preventing it.

The association, the management and the members of the organization attach great importance to quality and excellence, and safety is an integral part of this."
