It was THE topic of conversation after the Oscars in March last year: Actor Will Smith had slapped comedian and gala presenter Chris Rock in front of the cameras.

Now, for the first time, Rock has commented in detail on the incident - or rather: he made it the subject of a show, almost a year after the incident.

»Selective Outrage« was the name of the program that was broadcast live by Netflix.

"Everybody knows, yes it happened, I was slapped a year ago," Rock said - adding an insult to Smith.

"And people ask, 'Did it hurt?' It still hurts."

Rock doesn't want to be »a victim« – and continues to tease

Will Smith slapped comedian Rock almost a year ago during the Oscars.

The trigger was that Rock had made fun of Smith's wife Jada Pinkett Smith's hairstyle in front of an audience of millions.

She appeared bald at the Oscars because she suffers from an autoimmune disease that causes hair loss.

Smith then yelled at Rock, later he stormed onto the stage and punched him in the face.

Rock later refrained from filing a complaint.

Smith later apologized somewhat half-heartedly.

Rock had not yet commented on the incident.

Now he said pouring his heart out on talk shows is not his thing.

"You'll never see me cry on 'Oprah'."

After all, he was “not a victim”.

During his Netflix appearance, Rock Smith happily considered further rants.

He also spoke at length about an extramarital affair Jada Pinkett Smith had.

It's like he doesn't mind getting Will Smith into another freak out at the first opportunity.

However, the Oscar ceremony in mid-March is out of the question: Smith has been uninvited by the organizers for ten years.
