For the time being, this new film in which Abel Tesfaye will take on the leading role, has no title.
The musician had the original idea for the script.
For the writing, he gets help from Reza Fahim, Kevin Turen and Harrison Kreiss.
The Weeknd will also be joined by Jenna Ortega, star of the Wednesday
series
on Netflix, and Barry Keoghan, Oscar nominee for his performance in
The Banshees of Inisherin

The Grammy-winning and Oscar-nominated singer will also contribute to the film's soundtrack.
This will be produced by Oneohtric Point Never (OPN), Daniel Lopatin of his real name, with whom The Weeknd has already collaborated.
In Los Angeles, filming for the film has already begun.
