"Wednesday" and "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" are among the notable winners at the Nickelodeon Children's Choice Awards, which took place this weekend in Los Angeles.
The hit Netflix series, which focuses on the teenage daughter of the iconic Addams family, won the award for "Favorite Family TV Show."

Jenna Ortega, the lead actress in the series, picked up the "Female TV Star in a Family Series" award.
"Sonic the Hedgehog 2", the sequel to the successful movie based on the popular computer game, won the "Most Favorite Movie" award.
The pop star Taylor Swift won two awards: one in the category of "favorite female artist" and the other in the category of "favorite album", which she won for her latest and successful recording "Midnights".
But she is not the only one who returned to the Swift house armed with figurines.
That's because her cat, Olivia Benson Swift, won the "favorite celebrity pet" award.

Harry Styles picked up the awards for "Favorite Artist", "Favorite World Music Star" and "Best Song" for "As It Was", his huge hit from last year.
The band BTS was crowned as "the most favorite musical group".
As the names of the categories imply, the winners were determined by audience vote.
And other events that happened at the ceremony: Adam Sandler received the "King of Comedy" award, while Optimus Prime, the undisputed leader of the "Transformers", was awarded a lifetime achievement award.
The actor Seth Rogen, who is producing a new movie of "The Ninja Turtles", revealed the cast of his actors.
This includes names like Jackie Chan, John Cena, Paul Rudd and others.

And in the mandatory disgust corner, the actress Melissa McCarthy won the dubious honor of entering a tank containing 1,500 gallons of slime, the green substance associated with the children's awards ceremony, as well as the new Ninja Turtles.
