Los Angeles opens - Italy, many guests at the Chinese Theater

 Polish director Jerzy Skolimowski, nominated for an Oscar with the film EO (played by Lorenzo Zurzolo), composer Justin Hurwitz (Oscar winner for the soundtrack of La La Land and again in the running for Babylon), Oscar-winning screenwriters and directors Bobby Moresco and Nick Vallelonga, the actor Ted Neeley (fifty years after the release of Norman Jewison's film Jesus Christ Superstar), the new star of action cinema Frank Grillo (protagonist of the recent film Lamborghini - the man behind the legend ) are some of the guests attending the opening night of the Los Angeles Italia Film Fashion and Art Festival which kicked off Sunday evening at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood.

The 18th edition of the event is promoted with the support of the General Directorate of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Intesa Sanpaolo.

And it was Lucia Borgonzoni, Undersecretary for Culture, who inaugurated the festival presided over this year by the producer Raffaella de Laurentiis (heir of the legendary Dino).

A ceremony, presided over by the new Consul General of Italy in California, Raffaella Valentini, dedicated to pride in the excellent results in terms of production and the incoming of new international films to the peninsula.

Among the many guests, Ferzan Ozpetek, Maria Sole Tognazzi, Violante Placido, Max D'Epiro, Giorgio Colangelo, and Pippo Mezzapesa paraded on the red carpet, together with the producers Andrea Iervolino, Chiara Tilesi and Verdiana Bixio.

Looking forward to today's arrival at the TCL Chinese Theater of Indian actress Jacqueline Fernandez, director Catherine Hardwicke and Diane Warren (running for the

Oscar with the song Applause from the film Tell It Like A Woman produced by Ilbe and We Do It Together).

And also of Sabrina Impacciatore and of the director and actor Mike White, co-protagonist and author of the series The White Lotus (which the HBO network produced in Taormina).
