The procession will start at 2 p.m. In the evening, the intersyndicale will give a press conference at 7:30 p.m., following a meeting at Force Ouvrière.

New day of mobilization against pension reform, new processions in the streets of many cities in France.

As the unions prepare to pound the pavement for the sixth time on March 7, several hundred rallies are planned across France.

In Paris, the details of the route are now known: the event will leave at 2 p.m. from Sèvres Babylone, in the 6th arrondissement.

The leading procession should meet at the intersection between boulevard Raspail and rue de Vaugirard, near the Rennes metro station, on line 12. The participants should then pass through the Montparnasse district, before branching off towards Port-Royal and back down to Place d'Italie, their point of arrival.

In the capital, the previous mobilization record – as part of the sling against pension reform – was recorded on Saturday February 11, according to the police.

That day, 93,000 participants pounded the pavement, estimates the police headquarters, the CGT speaking of 500,000 people.

Attendance then collapsed on February 16, with a drop of more than 50%.

This time, however, the trade unions hope to see the processions grow, the last day of national action dating from almost three weeks ago.

Tomorrow we must have an extremely powerful mobilization day.

That means a lot of people in the streets

, ”said CFDT boss Laurent Berger on Monday.

According to our information, the number of demonstrators should indeed increase, this Tuesday: the intelligence services expect the arrival of 60,000 to 90,000 people, a figure which would however remain lower than the record of February 11.

The same evening, the inter-union, meeting at Force Ouvrière, in the 14th arrondissement, will announce the follow-up to be given to the social movement, during a press conference scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

At the same time, the unions in certain sectors, such as the railways, have already announced that they will engage in a renewable strike, starting on Tuesday.

The galleys will therefore continue.
