(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, MARCH 07 - The Western Balkans "remain a complex area" and Russia represents "a threat" to the stability of the region, given that it has "increased its efforts to influence the area with illicit financing and hybrid methods".
This was stated by the Albanian president Bajram Begaj during the press conference after the meeting with the NATO secretary general Jens Stoltenberg.
According to Begaj, NATO has a positive effect on the region and this can be seen in the "success" of the KFOR mission in Kosovo.
