After making a Bing Ai answer selector available for some users, which allows the new Microsoft search engine to be more or less concise in its answers, the company is preparing the 'celebrity' mode.

Unearthed by the Bleeping Computer site, this would allow the platform, based on the ChatGpt chatbot, to respond to user queries by assuming the tone, at least in the written text, of a famous character, even an invented one.

According to the source, among the celebrities "imitated" by Bing AI there would be Elon Musk, Tom Cruise, Taylor Swift, Kevin Hart, Dwayne Johnson, Beyoncé, Oprah Winfrey, Tom Hanks, Diddy, Barack Obama and Lebron James.

But also fictional characters, including Harry Potter, Batman, Elsa, Yoda, Gandalf, Darth Vader, Katniss Everdeen, Sherlock Holmes and Gollum.

To use the Celebrity mode, just type the command #celebrity in the chat box, followed by the name, and start a conversation with its digital version.

In addition to asking any question, the chatbot will respond promptly to the curiosities about the career and hobbies of the impersonated character.

Microsoft hasn't confirmed whether this mode will be implemented in the current version of Bing, but it appears it will be in addition to the three that were made available a few days ago: Balanced, Creative,

As Bing pointed out in the screenshots shared in the report, the user can turn off celebrity mode by typing #Sydney, which is his primary setting.

Microsoft would have introduced blocks to prevent the chatbot from following the style of some politicians, such as Trump and Biden, even if instructions have already appeared on the web to 'transform' Bing AI into the tycoon and his democratic counterpart.
