At the Dampierre-en-Burly finish line, Jonas Vingegaard's Jumbo-Visma imposed itself with a time of 33'55'' for the 32.2 kilometres: just one second behind EF Education-Easy Post, which however takes the yellow jersey of leader with Magnus Cort Nielsen against Mads Pedersen.
Third place for Simon Yates' Team Jayco AlUla.
Tadej Pogacar's UAE Emirates finished with the fifth fastest time, 23 seconds behind.
In the general classification Vingegaard rises to third place.
The new Danish leader, who before the start of this 3rd stage was twelve seconds behind Pogacar, now has an eleven second lead over the Slovenian.
