How good was this pita? Even my wife won't know - voila! Food

This place knows how to attract a crowd in simple and sophisticated ways and prepares simple and unsophisticated food. At first it played into our hands, the sequel was already less good

The pita was excellent, that's right.

Once upon a time, in the days of phone books, anyone who wanted their business name to appear on the first pages would add A.A.A.

before the name

And so you would find "A.A.A. Shoemakers" and "A.A.A. Lenders with interest" already in the first pages.

In fact, the AAA joke.

It is still running in various communities alongside the phrase "the token fell to him", and if you come across someone who utters one like this (like the writer of these lines who does it more than once) - run away for fear of being infected with common boomerism.

For all the columns of "Rosie the Taster"

that "AAA" has not really disappeared in the age of the Internet.

He simply moved to another incarnation, which today is known as high-tech SEO - Search Engine Optimization.

The idea is the same: what do I need to do to be the highest in Google's results.

Here the rules are different, the compliance is not to AB but to another logic, to the algorithms of search engines.

For example, imagine that you are in Ra'anana and you are looking for street food.

Google "Ra'anana Street Food" and a place called "Hafina Street Food" will immediately pop up.

How clever, so simple, huh?

We will call our place "A.A.A. Street Food in Ra'anana" in the language of 2023 - and everyone will come to us.

Sympathetic and inviting.

As I typed in the search words, with the hunger just climbing, I discovered that I was standing 220 meters from the place.

Even in Grindr you won't find such adjustments

The truth is that this is not a bad idea, especially in Ra'anana.

If your goal is to capture an audience in a technocratic city whose residents and workers nearby see Google as a way of life, stick in a generic name and they will come.

What really created added value for me was that while I was typing the search words, when the hunger was just climbing, I discovered that I was standing 220 meters from the place.

Even in Grindr you won't find such adjustments.

"Hafina Street Food" is a very lovable and hidden stand-come-mini-café on the tiny Jubilee Street parallel to the mansion.

I got there in the evening and had a little trouble finding it, but after a few seconds it appeared before my eyes - lit, inviting and embracing.

There were almost no people there.

It is evident that the activity there, like any average eatery in the bustling center of the city, takes place mainly during the lunch hours.

The varied menu made me look long and hard and finally I chose: pita with "fresh mix" (chicken breast, chickpea, beef and onion fried with a special seasoning, NIS 44), and "Jakarta style salad" (chicken breast marinated in soy, sesame oil and brown sugar with vegetables, pineapple and peanuts, NIS 58) and fish and chips (NIS 68).

A shot of nostalgia

For a whole year I fantasized about this shawarma.

This week I finally got hold of the pita

Did not pass the take away test.

I ate the pita by myself on the spot, mixed in its various types, I don't share with anyone

I took the last two at takeaway to share with my wife.

I ate the pita by myself on the spot, mixed in its various types, I don't share with anyone.

How good was she?

The pita was excellent, and the question is how browned do you like your meat.

As a follower of Wal Dun until the very end, I enjoyed it, the flavors blended together and the dish was beautiful and definitely justified 44 shekels.

I hoped to pull the positive momentum all the way home.

What started well will also end well, I thought, and such a sympathetic place deserves a paragon.

As you probably already understand, the sequel was less successful.

First, it will be said that the place does not make deliveries, so it is a bit unfair to judge it according to a measure of delivery.

On the other hand, they do do take-away, and the fish and chips did not pass the test (although it is fair to add that this is a dish that should never travel).

One side remained crispy, the other became musky and absorbed.

They were indeed tasty and the portion was fair, but if you want fish and chips from the "corner street food"

Lazy cut.

The biggest disappointment really came from the salad.

The taste was reasonable, the vegetables were fresh but cut too large, American style - let's do you a favor by cutting the cucumber and lettuce.

With that size, we had to eat vegetable-vegetable instead of creating a salad mix.

The pieces of chicken were also too large, it was not seasoned in an emphatic and present way.

The attempt was to create an Asian salad, and because of that they put the pineapple and soy, and the result came out completely striped.

The dish was lazy and to make it more fun and salady we had to cut everything into smaller pieces, which improved it slightly, but not significantly.

So how did it come out?

All in all, I really wanted to praise the "corner".

The place deserves compliments for being fairer than average for a street food eatery.

It is pleasant in all respects and the mixed pita made me think that the sequel would earn it a high score on the KMA index (quantity-price-quality from 1 to 10). You

can also give a discount for fish and chips because the emphasis of this place is on sitting, but The salad is scandalous, certainly in relation to its price - NIS 58. Still, I liked the place so much that after a small factor it gets 7.5.

There are many things I haven't tried at "Hafina Street Food", so other choices can do you a favor and even raise the The score. You can, let's say, choose one of the hamburgers on the menu. Sorry - one of the AAA hamburgers on the menu.
