(ANSA) - ROME, 07 MAR - The Ukrainian council of ministers has approved the compulsory evacuation of children from fighting areas: at the moment only Bakhmut falls within the criteria for the application of the law.
This was reported by Ukrainska Pravda.
Minors must be accompanied by one of the parents, a person who replaces them or another legal representative.
Refusal by parents or guardians to evacuate the child is not allowed. "The duty of the state is to protect the life and health of the child," said Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk.
