(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 07 - According to the International association for communication and sport (Iacs) and UNESCO, the media attention paid to women's sport is very low, around 4-5%, despite the fact that women represent 40% of athletes in professional sport and over 50% of gym goers.
On the occasion of Women's Day, Technogym launched the 'The missing out' campaign, with the aim of celebrating women all over the world, raising public awareness of the visibility of women's sport and creating a positive legacy.
The objective of the 'The missing out' campaign is precisely to give sportswomen the total visibility they normally do not receive.
Tomorrow, March 8, the windows of TechnogymMilano and the Technogym social channels will reveal some images that in the previous days were only visible for a portion of 5%, which therefore only revealed a detail.
The images will show some female champions that Technogym has the honor of accompanying in their preparation.
Among these, the ski champion Federica Brignone, who trains with Technogym Skillrun;
the cycling champion Martina Fidanza, who chooses Technogym Ride and the Olympian Bebe Vio, who uses the Technogym Bench, and Caterina Banti, who trains with Technogym Skillbik (ANSA).
