Two “ wild
” power cuts
attributed to strikers and targeting the Capécure port area and a commercial area affected up to 4,000 users on Tuesday morning in Boulogne-sur-Mer, in Pas-de-Calais, said Enedis.
These cuts, caused between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., still deprived some 1,500 customers of power at midday, according to the electricity distributor.

These cuts came as "
agents of the electricity and gas industries, including those of Enedis, were grouped together
" in the port area of Capécure, whose activity was paralyzed in the morning by demonstrators blocking all heavy traffic heavy, said Enedis.

Enedis strongly condemns these malicious acts
” and intends to “
file a complaint
”, underlined Serge Martin, territorial director Nord-Pas-de-Calais.
The cuts notably disrupted the operation of an Auchan in Saint-Martin-Boulogne, on the outskirts of the city.

The store is open, but the drive and deliveries are disrupted
,” said an employee at the store reception.
On its Facebook page, the shopping center in this area announced in the morning the closure of the shops in the shopping mall.
