The mobilization in France against the pension reform disrupted transport between France and the United Kingdom on Tuesday, with dozens of trains and flights canceled and delays in ferry connections.
Eurostar, which manages trains through the Channel Tunnel, canceled 16 of the 26 trains scheduled for the day between London and Paris and six others between the British capital and Brussels.
The company warned that the disruptions were likely to continue after Tuesday.

In the air sector, EasyJet canceled at least 18 flights between the United Kingdom and France, British Airways 13 and Air France canceled four routes between London's Heathrow airport and Paris.
Ferry connections between Dover and Calais have experienced delays sometimes exceeding an hour.
P&O Ferries has advised passengers to postpone their trips.
