More relationship drama

In his review of the season opener of the ZDF production "Der Schwarm", the reviewer expressed the hope that the plot would pick up in the coming episodes and be in top form.

It should be anticipated at this point that this wish is still waiting to be fulfilled.

In part two, the doctor Dr.

Cecile Roche (Cecile de France), who investigates the unlikely death of a chef.

When he tried to open a lobster in the kitchen of his restaurant, the animal burst and released a white, gelatinous mass that is apparently highly contagious.

The scene should be very familiar to fans of the novel, as it made its way into the adaptation almost one-to-one.

As soon as it gets exciting, however, the story swings back into soap mode and sheds light on Cecile's broken relationship with her (ex-)husband, who is neglecting their children for career reasons.

The whole thing lasts until the eleventh minute without being productive or profound in any way.

The box of two is basically irrelevant and serves purely as a filler.
