"At eighteen I suffered a rape. I was at a rave in a state of intoxication, I wasn't lucid. It happened with a boy I had met that evening and that I liked. From a kiss we went to violence".
Touching testimony of the model Bianca Balti guest of Beasts, the program conducted and conceived by Francesca Fagnani, who told the journalist in the episode broadcast tonight in prime time on Rai2 about the violence she suffered as a very young girl.
When Fagnani asks if she has seen him again, Balti recalls "I looked for him for a very long time - says Balti - of her rapist - I went to all the raves hoping to meet him again just to make peace with the idea that maybe there it was a story and not a rape. I met him years later when I was already a model, he came out of a sert (drug addiction service, ed.). I was pleased to see him, in my mind I needed to normalize this experience, to say we are friends".

And on her addictions, the model confesses: "I've tried all the drugs. Even opiates".
and adds: "I stopped when I couldn't take it anymore, when I no longer had the will to live. That was the lowest moment. I wanted to die, but since I wasn't brave enough to take my own life, so I said let's try".
Balti on his career says: "immediately after the first fashion shows, 18 years ago, they offered me a contract for one million euros, but I said no because I understood that I could get better" and pressed by Fagnani on the contract that satisfied her more economically, Balti replies: "the Dolce&Gabbana commercial on the gozzetto, both from a professional and economic point of view".
There is also talk of motherhood, and when Fagnani asks why her daughter Matilde has decided to live with her father, Balti replies: "At the time I was moving to Los Angeles. It was yet another move and therefore she decided to go to live with his father. Only recently did he confess to me that he did it because he wanted some stability".
And when Fagnani asks if she has suffered from it, she replies: "I have suffered a lot. But then you get used to even the ugliest things and thank goodness there is technology".
