(ANSA-AFP) - TBILISI, MARCH 08 - Sixty-six demonstrators were arrested and about fifty policemen were injured during protests in Tbilisi in Georgia against the law on foreign agents.
Yesterday evening the demonstrators broke through the barriers at the entrance to Parliament, trying to enter the courtyard of the building.
Molotov cocktails and rocks were thrown at police in overnight clashes after Parliament gave its initial backing to a draft law on "foreign agents" that critics say undermines the south Caucasus country's hopes of EU membership.
