Anousha Nazari, Iranian Women's Day
"Women.
Life.
Freedom”, such is the motto of Iranian women who have, for several months, courageously initiated a feminist revolution against the Islamic regime.
On the occasion of International Women's Day, Anousha Nazari, an Iranian lyrical singer exiled in France, presents
You, my desire.
She gives a voice to these women who fight for their fundamental rights, including the right to sing alone in public.
They are in fact only authorized to perform in mixed groups.
The project was filmed at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris.
This video was released for free access on social networks and online music platforms on March 8, 2023. A call for solidarity with Iranian women.

Ronan Bouroullec, the freedom of drawing
Ronan Bouroullec and his drawings.
Adagp, Paris 2023. Michel Sima/Bridgeman Images
As far back as he can remember, in his solitary summers in Brittany, Ronan Bouroullec draws.
A daily practice, often nyctalope, to which the internationally recognized designer indulges.
Synonymous with freedom, fluidity, drawing does not need any protocol.
A makeshift paper -poor or glittering-, a pencil, a Bic pen or a Japanese felt-tip pen and you're done.
Out of his thousands of drawings, an enormous corpus, three hundred were chosen for the
Daily Drawings exhibition.
The course, in thirteen rooms explores all the formats and techniques of Ronan Bouroullec.
Pure pleasure of shape and color.

Germaine Richier or the art of metamorphosis

Here is Germaine Richier (1902-1959) in majesty at the Center Pompidou, after a long absence.... This pupil of Bourdelle was however, in 1956, the first sculptor exhibited during her lifetime at the National Museum of Modern Art... Sculptures, engravings , drawings: the retrospective brings together nearly 200 works.
It demonstrates its central place in the great tradition of bronze statuary, like a link in the chain between Rodin and the Caesar of scrap metal.
Radical from the age of 25, she creates new images of men and women, playing hybridizations with nature.
A tribute to his impact on the history of 20th century sculpture.

This book mixes the haikus (Japanese poems of a few lines celebrating the evanescence of things) of the poet Kobayashi Issa (1763-1828), dedicated to the cat, with works by Japanese artists sketching these little felines.
Xylographs, ink drawings, photographs… (from Hokusai to Fusake) represent a kitten running after a butterfly, a cat falling asleep on the tatami… An example taken from this marvelous book, this two-by-two imbued with delicacy : "The poet's cat / Sometimes catches a fly, To console oneself..." This haiku, taken from the notebook of the Bunsei era, in 1822, is placed next to an ink and color on silk, Cat looking at a
spider
by Oide Toko made around 1888-1892.
An invitation to contemplation and meditation.
