Main tenant of the premises located in Saint-Denis, EuropaCorp on Monday sued its owner the company Nef Lumière, of which the Caisse des dépôts et consignations is the main shareholder, according to a document consulted by AFP.
She is claiming the payment of “
eviction compensation
” of just over 14 million euros for her company as well as for the nine sub-tenant companies.
EuropaCorp also asks him to "
formally issue the termination of the main lease

Colliers Global Investors France (CGIF), manager of the company Nef Lumière, assures AFP that it has started discussions with the “
aim of finding an amicable agreement for early release
”.
The next step in these discussions is "
the legal treatment of sub-tenants of EuropaCorp with whom the Nef lumière has no contractual link
", indicates CGIF which is awaiting documents to set an appointment.
Regarding the claim for compensation, CGIF “
did not wish to comment while the negotiation with EuropaCorp is in progress
”.
The site must be made available to the Paris Olympic Games Organizing Committee from November 2023 to accommodate the athletes' catering area, located near the Olympic Village.
The Cité du Cinéma, led in particular by the director Luc Besson, aimed to create a cinematography center and allow, on the same site, the production of a film from the writing of the screenplay through the production of sets to during filming and post-production, but the transplant never really took off.
