The Georgian Parliament revoked the law on foreign agents.
This was reported by Sputnik Georgia.
"As a responsible party in government
we have taken the decision to unconditionally withdraw the bill we supported," said the Georgian Dream party, which holds an absolute majority in Parliament.
The decision follows two nights of riots in Tbilisi, where thousands of protesters demanding the repeal of the law had gathered outside Parliament.
According to the report provided by the Ministry of the Interior, the police arrested 133 people while dozens of officers and civilians
were injured.
