(ANSA) - MILAN, MARCH 10 - "We believe that 78 years after the Liberation it is paradoxical that in Italy there are still organizations that refer to a past defeated with the war of liberation and the Resistance. And it is even more serious that they find themselves in Milan which is the capital of the Resistance".
Thus Roberto Cenati, president of the provincial Anpi of Milan, comments on the gathering of neo-fascist formations scheduled for today and tomorrow in Milan.
"For some time, like Anpi - he underlines - we have been asking for the dissolution of these neo-fascist organizations. The tools are there: the Scelba law, which made it possible to dissolve the new order and the national avant-garde, and the Mancino law which completes it, also adding the apology of racism: the tools exist but the political will to apply them is lacking": "In recent years there is a certain continuity that should be interrupted with the intervention that we - says the president of the provincial Anpi of Milan - hope for but it seems to us that there is no political will. "There is a certain concern on our part also for the level of abstention in the elections: if 60-70% of the population does not vote, it means that - he concludes - there is no interest in public affairs, in what is happening".
