(ANSA) - PALERMO, MARCH 10 - A retired soldier from the Guardia di Finanza, 65-year-old Tindaro Molica Nardo, stabbed his 61-year-old wife to death and then took his own life.
The fact took place in the couple's home in via Casani at the entrance to Gioiosa Marea, a town on the Tyrrhenian coast of Messina.
Some neighbors gave the alarm to the police.
The investigations by the Carabinieri into the uxoricide-suicide are coordinated by the Prosecutor Angelo Cavallo.
According to the first testimonies, the quarrels between the two spouses, parents of two daughters, would have been frequent.
