The story took place in Sant'Agata Bolognese (Bologna) and ended with the intervention of the carabinieri who arrested a 45-year-old of Chinese origin.
It was the elderly Italian mother-in-law who called 112, who on Wednesday evening saw her three grandchildren arrive home, having run away from home because their mother was angry.
The older of her told her that she was injured by a 'whip' that her mother had given her with an electric cable.
The carabinieri reached the 45-year-old, who justified herself by saying that she had simply scolded her daughter.
Given her state of agitation, she was accompanied to a hospital for tests and the three children entrusted to their paternal grandmother, given that her father, as well as the 45-year-old's husband, is currently abroad for work.
A few hours later the same carabinieri received another request for help from the elderly woman, frightened by her daughter-in-law who, discharged from the hospital, had forced her way into her house, demanding the return of her three children.
In the circumstance, she had also kicked the boyfriend of her 15-year-old daughter present in her house, without causing him any injuries.
The woman was arrested for aggravated trespassing.
At the disposal of the Prosecutor's Office, the 45-year-old was placed under house arrest pending the trial with a very direct rite.
Meanwhile, the investigations by the carabinieri continue for the hypothesis of abuse in the family.
