The fishing boat intercepted in the afternoon by the Coast Guard, under escort, reached up to two miles from Capocolonna using autonomous propulsion despite the sea conditions - force 4 near the coast - were difficult for a boat in poor condition and overcrowded.

In view of the arrival in Crotone, where the sea had strengthened, the boat was joined by the tugboat 'Alessandro Secondo' of Crotone which, as they say in the jargon, "got it in a package" tying it on its side straight with peaks.

In this way the vessel was able to arrive safely in the port of Crotone.
