(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 12 - A new tweet from Alarm Phone a few minutes ago announces that people in distress on the boat coming from Libya called the NGO again this morning.
"More than 24 hours after our initial notification to the authorities, they are exhausted and still at sea, battling wind and adverse weather conditions. We urge the authorities to coordinate a rescue as soon as possible and get the people to safety in Italy!" writes the NGO! created by a network of activists to alert sea rescue, in relation to the boat adrift yesterday among the waves in the central Mediterranean.
