the economic and political uncertainty in the country, together with the rise in inflation and interest rates following it, endanger the renovation industry and lead to a sharp drop in demand, compared to previous years.

According to Siv, the renovation contractors say that there are cancellations or postponements of works planned for Passover, people simply do not know what will be here and what is going to be here.

The economic uncertainty, according to him, is what makes people fear and spend less money.

According to him, "Since the beginning of the protests against the legal reform and the inability to reach agreements on both sides of the political spectrum, which causes economic uncertainty, the renovation contractors feel a decrease of about 25% in accepting jobs, compared to last year, and precisely during the most requested period of the year."

"During the pre-Passover period we are always in the midst of work, which we don't feel today," asserts Siv, "there is no doubt that this situation is also severely affecting the renovation industry and I am hopeful that we will soon return to a sane state in the State of Israel."
